My Chair Crush!

Brrr, it’s gotten really cold again in Minnesota. Perfect for snuggling back with a cup of hot tea or hot cocoa and a good read or game app. What’s the perfect chair for doing this without screaming “Big Fat, Poofy Chair in the Room!”? A couple of my favorite chairs are the Wesley Hall 674 Grayson and my newly discovered love…the Hickory Chair Jules Chair. I’ve put the Wesley Hall chair in a few projects and I always get rave reviews. It has very clean lines, and depending on your fabric selection, it would be perfect for a contemporary, transitional, or traditional space. It’s plenty large to do “the lounge” with a crossword, but also upright enough to carry on a conversation. In fact, I hear from clients it’s the one chair men seem to be drawn to when entering a room!

If you’re looking for something with a bit softer lines, but still a clean design, I recently just discovered the Hickory Chair Jules Chair. Talk about comfort! It has roundness and slightly more curves all around. I love using these type of chairs as swivels and the Jules chair comes with a fabulous wood base (or skirt) for the swivel.
