Colorfully whimsical perfectly describes the feeling in the home of this active and involved retired couple.  In their extensive travels they have collected art and strengthened their appreciation for combining colors and textures and making those work beautifully in their home and for their lifestyle.

Guests are welcomed at the front entry where the quirky art chair and fun combination of colors and artwork give them a taste of what is to come.  From there, let’s step into the living room where the color is toned down with elegantly papered walls of cream and gold that let the artwork sing and the pops of color shine. A separate, yet related, sitting area is perfect for a more intimate gathering or conversation.

The kitchen lends its very own personality featuring more art along with exciting contemporary furnishings set against a backdrop of quiet gray cabinetry.  The glossy golden island and copper pendants above absolutely sparkle in this room.

Beyond the kitchen is the Family Room and it is, arguably, the most colorfully whimsical space in the house. Mr. Homeowner refers to this room as magical and we agree. From the unexpected combinations of patterns in the furniture to the saturated colors and textures throughout, any guest couldn’t help but feel the joy these homeowners give and receive in the their uniquely personal home.
